Starting Place

I have a silly confession to make. And I suppose that that's as good a place as any to start a blog where a person may just wind up talking to herself. But maybe, if a reader is reading a blog that looks like it may one day shape up to be a crafting blog, you, reader, might share a similar history. And if not, please just don't laugh at me so loudly that I can hear you.

When I was a little girl, I was the sort of child who liked to make things from construction paper and popsicle sticks and pretend that there was a full audience in attendance of my crafting session, Martha Stewart style, and I would instruct them, sometimes in my head and sometimes, very quietly — I was/am a shy person — out loud, on making cards and doll house furniture.

And this seems as good a reason as any to finally decided to give in to my friend's insistence that I should start a blog. I think she secretly just wanted another blog to entertain her but now she has herself in for some great popsicle stick crafts! Now I can take up being the host of my imaginary show right where I left off.

Aren't you glad your Mom didn't throw out all the various projects and nickknacks in you bedroom at home!
